While in Tallahassee, Florida, preparing BFA Theatre Students at Florida State University for life after college in the professional world, some local actors in the community invited John to teach a weekend intensive seminar.  John happily accepted, had a wonderful experience and has been returning often ever since. 

Soon, his weekend seminars grew into other communities both within and outside Florida and he continues to enjoy teaching young people of all ages around the country.  Though the foundation of his seminars deal with the craft of acting, John’s focus is in helping his students manifest success by shifting perspectives of what is possible through comprehensive exercises, discipline and accountability.  Having turned his own childhood dreams into accomplished realities, John offers proven tools to those rare individuals with the inner strength to pursue their dreams. 

John’s classes include On-Camera Performance Workshop, Advanced Scene Study, Creating the World of the Character and Creating Your Artistic Signature to name a few.  Each of these classes attempts to identify the strength’s of each actor, their weaknesses and then help them formulate a blueprint for their development.
